About PSF

Public Space Foundation is an independent think-network that initiates and cultivates civil leadership and social entrepreneurship in the public sector. Via its own initiatives for research and reports on issues of public interest, articles in the media, and by chairing – or presenting at – national and international conferences, we stimulate the debate.

Additionally, members of the think tank help to propagate ideas. The think tank’s core members are surrounded by professors, opinion leaders and journalists who we consult whenever their specific expertise is required. We regularly invite them for debates.

Steven de Waal founded the Public Space Foundation in 2001 as the independent research arm of Strategy and Management Group Boer & Croon. Upon his departure as board chair and partner at Boer & Croon in 2004, Public Space was registered as an independent foundation chaired by Steven de Waal.
